When you say "First Gen", do you mean pre-cat or with cat logo?

Try rolling them and describe if they are straight or not or have any roll out.

Also, no offence meant but a person can buy brand new 2nd generation Predator partials cheaper than you're selling old stock, good luck.

As stated, it's a 'partial', meaning that the shaft is factory finished from the tip down to 6" from the joint end. There is no logo attached, no insert, no ring work, no finish and it's oversize at the joint end so that a cuemaker can accurately mate & match the shaft to a given cue.
Predator has recently cleared out the US factory of any remaining Gen.1 shafts which are now in the hands of Seybert's. These remaining shafts will soon be made available to the public at greatly reduced prices. These are all 1st quality shafts and there are quite a few of them in all popular configurations. Most of them are 29" but there are several 30" shafts as well. There are no remaining partials as I've purchased them all. Sorry. If you're currently looking for a deal on a Gen.1 shaft give Seybert's a call, they'll treat you right.

Predator has supplied Seybert's with a fixture, complete with dial indicator, for checking the straightness of all shafts. If a Predator shaft runs out more than .005" it is to be rejected. It will not leave Seybert's unless it's straight.
As far as the price being asked by 'Biz', look at it this way. GM doesn't make any more `67 Vettes either but if you found one with '0' miles on it wouldn't you think it would be worth more money today than when new in `67 ?
 
Yes they are both straight. These are 10 piece 314 shafts, they would have the cat logo. As for the 2nd generation shafts some players prefer these over them. Thanks for a little more detail with these KJ, i guess i should have been a little clearer on my description.

Hi Gene,
I'm authorized by Predator to build Predator shafts from partial to fit & match whatever cue I'm building the shaft for. I'm given a supply of decals (& ferrules because I do repair work) to be used in the process of building the shaft. I have quite a collection of decals, from the very small '314' w/no panther to the much larger '314-2'. These mtrls. are to be used in the execution of my job and I'm not at liberty to give them out or use them for any other purpose. If you were purchasing a Predator partial, a decal would be included with the shaft to be applied at the appropriate time. If you are looking for decals then I suggest that you call Darrin at Predator. He's good people & good to deal with.

Thanks for the info regarding Seyberts, good to know.

I bought all of the old Predator partials I could get my hands on (about 20 or so) a while back and feel really good about paying WHOLESALE pricing from JoeRackem.

As far as comparing Predator partials to 67 vette's, now that's a stretch... I think it's more like paying wholesale compared to retail. If someone prefers the older model Predator Partial then this is a source. Like you said, go find more.

KJ, I was simply asking if you would be able to place an original logo onto the shafts you are selling or provide one to anyone buying the partial. I don't need the decals. Thanks.

By the way...is anyone going to buy the shafts the original poster is selling? Contact him for a good deal.
 
Ill give a hundred and ten for one i need a blank one to fit my 5280 cue...i cant find a 314-2 for my 5280 for under a 180.00 i didnt want to go the blank way because there are no certified predator dealers in the state of VA. was scared it would get messed up. However i am sure that Todd of Parrot Cues could have done it..he does great work.

Check first thread, just recieved 2 more shafts. Get them while they last these are getting harder n harder to find!!!
