I just aquired in a trade an older solid brown Instroke Case. I received it from the original owner who ordered it special in 1997. (so he told me, no reason to not believe him, old timer with an extensive collection of high dollar cues)
Hense his initials are on the top pocket flap. "JEL"
Everything works. Nice weathered look, I have never seen one like this before. A little crush at the bottom, interior is excellent and clean.
Photos are a good guide to condition.
Thanks for looking,
Dom
oh yea, looking for TRADE IN PROGESS or an interesting trade? (would trade even on a newish 3/8 x 10 Pred 314-2)

That case was not special ordered but it is special. The J E L must have been added later. What is special about this case is the leather. We had run out of the normal leather we used for the burgundy color and so I had to go to the leather broker and find something similar. What I came across was some of the most luxurious and beautiful leather I have ever touched.

There are less than 100 Instroke cases in existence with this leather and this is one of them. It was not intended to be a limited model, we were just substituting the leather for the normal leather.

Hope this helps.

John - founder of Instroke for those that haven't heard it a 1000 times already.
