I have a perfect Titlist for doing a conversion cue. It is an early Titlist, 1941-43, rosewood, oversized 1.4 at the butt, 0.857 inches at 28 inches from the butt. Even, brightly colored points that extend 22.5 inches from the butt. Cue is straight for the butt portion up to about 36 inches from the bottom. Only a little wobble there, 57 inches. The butt has a small bumper held with a small wood screw, these early models are best because it is full sized stock all the way to the end. It is a 19 ounce cue, which is also ideal weght for converting. This cue could be made into a 1 piece cue, its plenty big, feels like a club in your hand.
I stripped down the cue and left the original logo., Hoppe signature and weight stamp. I was going to just refinish it and keep it as a home house cue, but the warp at the top is just a bit to much. I did refinish another Titlist that is dead straight, the veneers look great.
As you may know the veneers will beceven brighter when the cue is brought down to current dimensions. When the finish is applied the rosewood will also show a darker richer color.
For 220 delivered. I would cut the cue at 36 inches fr shipping, unless someone wanted it in full length. Paypal accepted, price includes insured shipping.
