After much thought I decided to sell my Omen. I bought this from the original owner who ordered it from Pete. I love the way the cue played at first. Now the honeymoon is over and it's just not for me. The cue plays great and is balanced very very well. The cue does have quite a few dings in the finish. The worst one is one the silver ring( see pic). None of them are into the wood, only in the finish. I asked the guy about them because I know he takes care of his cues so this is not normal. He said that ever since he got the cue the finish seemed very "thin, soft, and brittle" is the words he used. Now I can understand what he means. While taking pics my daughter put a ding in it with a juice cup. Go figure. Now onto the cue.
6 pt. Amboyna into Ebony with Maple recut points. Butt Weight 15.2oz Butt piece under last rinds is a little loose.
Silver, Amboyna, and Maple rings at A, B, and E.
Single Silver ring at C and D.
Black with White spec wrap.
3/8 by 11 brass pin.( I believe thats it. Correct me if I am wrong.)
2 Shafts. Both played.
1 with Ivorine Ferrule and Morri Med tip. 3.8 oz and 13.00 mm
1 with Standard(not sure) Ferrule and Sniper tip. 3.9 oz and 12.94mm
Cue is straight together. One shaft has a taper roll. Tip and joint never leave the table.
I understand I have zero trader so, I do have a reference with 60+ trader to vouch for me.
Cue will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail, insured, bubble wrapped, into a tube, then into a triangle box.
