Priced to sell! $200 to your door for all 7 shafts! USA48 only. PP ff preferred, but other ok.
Qty 7 Lambros shafts package deal. Shafts were all made by Ted Harris in the late 90's or very early 2000's. They fit the Lambros Ultra Joint butt from that time period. I do not think they fit the current Ultra Joint, which I think he calls Ultra Joint 2, but I'm not caught up on my Lambros specifications. This is a great opportunity to try a Predator shaft on your Lambros, or try different tapers of traditional wood shafts, for cheap.
The left 5 shafts are all solid wood traditional shafts, with "natural" ferrules.
The 2 right shafts were made from Predator 314-1 blanks.
These were all owned by a friend of mine who asked me to sell the actual Lambros cue in about 2004. I sold the cue for him on Ebay at the time with 4 original Lambros shafts. (Yes, he had 11 shafts for this cue!). He gave me these extra shafts for me to sell and keep the cash as a thank you for selling his cue. They have been sitting in a case in my closet since. This guy was a player, and he had a ton of high end cues and liked to experiment with lots of different shafts and tapers and would always be having different shafts made for his various cues.
The shafts are all on the smaller side, ranging from 11.4mm to 12.3mm on the ferrule.
The shafts are all in super smooth condition. No knicks at all. The only issue is this guy was pretty fanatical about cleaning the shafts, and some of them have a bit of necking right behind the ferrule. Its most severe on the 2 predator shafts, as he played those by far the most. But it looks like with my eye 4 of the 7 have it to some degree. One of the natural ferrules has a hairline crack about 1/8" long right behind the tip. It probably plays fine, but I don't have a butt to put it on to test. Also the rings have popped the finish slightly on one of the shafts. They were like this in 2004, they have not gotten worse during these years of storage. The last two pictures are the butt of the cue these shafts were made to match. The cue was actually featured in the blue book of pool cues. I think it ended up selling for $2200 on Ebay in march of 2004 with 4 original shafts. I have no idea where it is now.
So while these shafts are not perfect, they are definitely playable. And if you have a Lambros, this is a good way to try a bunch of different shafts on it for fun, at a good price.
I need a week to ship these. I just ran out of boxes, and placed an order with USPS to deliver to me more shipping triangle tubes. I can't ship until the tubes show up.
Please see the pictures and the video for condition and roll test.
Thanks for the action!
