I believe this is a Special shaft (see below).
Up for sale is this super curly Mezz Hybrid Alpha shaft that fits 5/16 14 pin. I am not familiar with Mezz terminology but this may be one they refer to as WAVY joint but again, I'm not a Mezz guy. EDIT: it was just brought to my attention that the 5/16 14 like on this shaft is called the United joint not wavy. Thanks for the clarification.
Shaft rolls good and is in good used shape, however, if I were to keep it to use I would get it cleaned up and sealed because im fussy.
The Story Behind This Shaft: A good friend of mine who is Japanese and an advanced player from the west coast is a Mexx enthusiast. He had an opportunity a few years ago where he knew a guy who had an in at the Mezz factory and approx a dozen of these super curly Hybri Aphas became available but they weren't going to ship them, they had to be picked up in person at the factory in Japan. I don't know much else except my friend was able to get 4 of them from the guy who y went and I had to twist his arm hard to get this one from him. My friend has had some serious health issues and isnt playing much anymore otherwise he would be glad to get this one back. I do not believe any of thesethese were ever made avail to the general market in this extremely curly configuration but some of you guys will probably know better than I. I did a couple searches which didn't turn up any.
