Up for sale is a Predator CAT 314 shaft. I rarely see these shafts come up for sale and have been told they have one of the best feels as far as Predator shafts go. I'm only selling because I like the hit of a traditional maple shaft more and don't want this just sitting in the case.

The shaft is tapped for a 3/8x10 pin. It has a brand new Ivorine-4 ferrule with a new but chalked triangle tip both installed byTony Layne. The shaft rolls straight as far as I can tell but I'll mention that it might have the slightest of taper rolls. The shaft has also been polished so it has a nice smooth feel and sheen. I believe the tip is ~12.7mm and am unsure of the weight.

Did Predator redo the ferule? If not, does it still hit like a 314? and still have the LD qualities?
 
Tony Layne put the ferrule on. I've never hit with a Predator before this one so I can't tell you how it hits compared. It does hit nice and firm
