Up for sale is an outstanding example of an early BlueGrass cue. It has very minimal play and has been carefully stored for the past 10 years. The wrap, shafts and tips all appear to be original to the cue.
The only blemishes I can locate are some light, superficial scuffing on the butt-cap (just past signature) and a tiny nub of the rubber bumper is gone. Also the shafts have some chalk dust in the wood pores, more so on the 12.75mm shaft as it has more play. Other than that the cue is in great, as-new condition.
Everything appears to be straight and mates up perfectly. If necessary I could bring it to a local cue-maker (Dave Jones) to verify on the lathe and clean/seal the shafts.

- Butt: 14.6 ounces
- Shaft 1: 4 ounces, 13mm, Micarta, Moori
- Shaft 2: 3.75 ounces, 12.75mm, Micarta, Moori
- Joint: Brown Phenolic with a 3/8-11 Brass pin
- Ringwork: Fancy Block Style ringwork at all positions, A/B/C/D/E
- Forearm: Highly figured BEM
- Wrap: Brown with White specks, pressed Irish linen, original by Richard
- Butt Sleeve: Highly figured BEM
- Butt cap: Brown Phenolic
