Still available. Would trade for a similarly constructed cue at 20 oz. 59" or 60" would be great. Whacha gawt?

I would just like to point out something in this thread. When I am aware of an issue with a cue, I reveal it. The modified insert in the shaft of this cue was that way when I received it. The fellow I made a trade with, Daniel Cossitt, told me the shaft was that way when he received it - even though he never bothered to mention until I asked him about it after the trade was completed. He told me that one of the shafts on the cue I had sent him was warped (it was not warped to my knowledge when it left Missouri). Daniel said he would pursue rectifying the shaft problem with the fellow he got the Schon cue from... Billiardbills. http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=361913

Billiardbills insists the shaft was new yet refers to Daniel Cossitt as a stand up guy in the linked post. Someone is not a stand up guy.

I just thought folks should know this little episode.

The Schon is a good cue and the shaft does work and seem to be a tight fit, but that shaft is definitely NOT a new, unaltered Schon shaft. And someone didn't mind hiding that fact.

another trip upstairs

I can't respond to this thread due to the bump filter, but need to post further info about the shaft along with some pictures that are hopefully a bit useful. I've never seen a new Schon shaft with an insert like this (I'll admit not have a huge amount of experience with Schons, but I've seen a lot of them).

Just to be clear, this is what I'm seeing in the shaft - forgive the bad image quality, it's the best I could do.

Here's a pic that shows how far down on the pin the shaft goes before there is contact with the threads

The view of the interior of the insert is not at all clear (sorry) but here is another shot that shows it a little better

Bill, I do appreciate the fact that you offered to trade me an aftermarket shaft worth less than a Schon shaft. Are you saying this shaft was made this way by Schon? And I told you myself the shaft fits snug in spite of the insert being bored out. This has been for sale here for two weeks and it was on Facebook even prior to that. Guess I dragged my feet a bit in posting it for sale.

I traded this cue to Dan with no issues. He traded it to you. Now there's an issue. I be discussed this IN GREAT DETAIL with you. I've offered trading the shaft. What else do you want from the guy that didn't trade it to you?

I had 8 Schon shafts to choose from. That's the one that was chosen because it's new not used. It's a BRAND NEW SCHON shaft. It seats fine and it seats tightly. There's not an issue.

I don't hve a dog in this fight....I don't know billiard bill or Daniel...I do know Rich (Underclocked), he has been a staple in my area for years...always good action, an honest player and a all around pleasure to know...

It's no fight from me. My offer stands regarding the shaft or seeing about another cue in the same range that I can part with. Again, not my trade but I'm open to help.

The Schon is still a great cue.

If I had another Schon shaft you could have it but I do not. I've got two Michael Morgan custom shafts that fit the cue.

Just curious if any of you would have been more interested/bought this cue if it had an unaltered shaft? Cue is still available. Trades??

One last time. I have lowered the price to $400 shipped to lower 48. This offer is good today and tomorrow only. Cue has yet to even be chalked.
