FS: Schon STL-1, $LIES + 4% Paypal
I'm gonna quote my previous thread with some additions and changes. Thanks!
Hey all! This is my first FS transaction, so, let me know what's available and what works best for you. I hope my previous postings on this board stands as testament to my character.
This cue is in like new condition, no more than days of play, purchased in 2003. I'd describe the hit as very crisp, with a very satisfying noise classic to Schon. And the cue plays forward balanced, overall just great playability. The ringwork at C, D, and E are very unlike the STL-1's I've seen with usually a b&w check, whereas this one is a metal stitch like in their higher-end models.? IMO I think it makes it look much classier. Also, if you're in to beefy shaftwood, this one's got it for sure--the shaft feels super dense when holding it.
Total weight: 18.4 oz
Butt weight: 14.25
Shaft weight: 4.15 oz
Tip: Elkmaster pressed Milkdud
Tip size: 12.85 mm
Balance point: 19.5 in
Joint: 5/16x14 piloted stainless steel
I just realized that there are two light abrasions around the joint collar of the shaft. I'd imagine that they could be easily finished over, and am 100% they do not effect the play...obviously. I simply cannot get adjusted to a wrapped cue, hence the sale.
Thanks for your time!
