I received this shaft with a 1940's Hoppe Pro several years ago. It looks like a Schuler shaft (I have only owned one Schuler, so not positive). It is a little short (28 1/8) and has a man-made ferrule that doesn't have a clean connection to the shaft. I have done nothing to this shaft since receiving it a few years ago (no cleaning, etc). If I remember correctly, it did not rifle-site completely straight with the old Hoppe Pro, so it probably needs re-facing - don't know, as the pilot doesn't fit the only 5/16x14 cues I currently have. No cracks or bad dings.
I have no idea as to value, so make an offer. If I get two or more offers by Tuesday I will take the higher; otherwise I plan to refinish it and try a straightening tool on it. If anyone is seriously interested but wants to wait until I refinish it, just let me know.
Measurements are approximate. It has about a 1/8" taper roll but the tip does not lift when rolled alone.
