For sale is a Scruggs "Dollars and Cents" cue, named because of the $ and cent sign inlays in the points. This cue was made in the early 80's and has been in a collection most of it's life. The cue is in excellent condition, with just a couple of small dings in the butt, nothing through finish. The forearm is stained a light honey color. All inlays are ivory. The butt and ferrules are not ivory. Stainless steel joint with 5/16th 14 thread. I emailed Scruggs and was told that there were a few variations of this cue and that it would cost over $3k to build today.

--13mm shafts, 4.0 oz, and 3.9 oz. one shaft has a very very small wobble. The other is straight

-- 15.1 oz. butt. Straight.

--Asking $1,800. SoldLooking for cash offer, but might be willing to trade for a Southwest

Tim scruggs

My buddy bought almost the same exact cue 3 years ago at valley forge. the only difference is the butt cap had a little more inlay in it and he paid $2700.00 for it. Thats a great price for a really nice Scuggs

Sweet old Scruggs Cue!

Looks like one made when Timi and Bob were together. Those old cues hit so solid.
Nick :)

The email from Scruggs said right around 1981. The cue does play nice...surprised it was kept in a case all these years.

Thanks for the kind comments Nick.

New lower price for a Scruggs classic. Try finding a early 80's Scruggs in this fine condition.
