This is one of, if not the nicest Scruggs s/p you will ever see for sale.
The finish was fading a little so I just had it refinished by Chris Nitti (I picked it up today). It has a few very minor scratches on the buttcap, other than that the butt is perfectly straight and mint.
The cue's original shaft was warped so I trashed it. I had Nitti make a new shaft from old growth timber with some of the tightest grain I have seen to date, perfectly straight with a melomine ferrule, and Hercules 2 medium hard tip.
The cue is 58 1/8" long not counting the tip and bumper (butt 29"/shaft 29 1/8"). It weighs 19.01 oz (butt 14.645 oz/shaft 4.365 oz). The shaft is 13.2 mm with a Southwest taper, the joint is 21.50 mm, and the buttcap is 32.15 mm. Thread is 5/16" x 14.
This has not been played since I got it back and will just sit in the closet if I don't sell it. I have over $500 in the cue as it sits.
I want $415 firm shipped priority mail and not interested in trades (paypal only). A lot of people here have done business with me and some know me personally if you need refs.
Merry Christmas!
