For sale is a vintage Pete Tascarella bumperless hoppe cue, which is in NEAR MINT CONDITION (at least a 97.5 out of 100) & ROLLS DEAD STRAIGHT TOGETHER AND APART. The forearm features 4 razor-sharp Brazilian Rosewood points into into Bird's-Eye Maple. The sleeve is a gorgeous piece of Brazilian Rosewood with an Ivory Hoppe ring. The joint is sleeved Ivory over piloted stainless steel with a 5/16-14 screw. The wrap is seamless leather like only Pete can do. The shafts look like they have never been chalked or played (just look at the wood around the brass inserts). Each shaft has a very grainy Ivory ferrule (one shaft has an original Moori tip; the other has a le Pro).
The specs are:
Length: 29.0 inches + 29.0 inches = 58.0 inches.
Weight: 18.9 oz. with either shaft; the butt alone weighs 14.9 oz. (making both shafts 4.0 oz.)
Shaft Diameters: 13.13 mm and 13.12 mm.
I played with the cue for about three hours over the weekend and can represent without hesitation that it is an incredible ball striker!
My CASH price is SOLD in about 70 minutes. Thanks, Charles.
