Looks like dyed maple to me. But i can always be wrong:thumbup:

I wil start the bidding process with 300usd

Your cue is stained birdseye maple, not "aboyna burl." It does appear to be a Scruggs, though, so someone will buy it anyway.

Nice stained birdseye Scruggs player with what looks to be a leather wrap by Ginacue. This is an older Scruggs cue from the 80's when Timmy made them.
If the shafts were 12.7 - 13m.m. i would say $850. but with the skinny shaft $500 - $600.shipped. g.l. with your sale.

thanks for letting me know its stained maple as i posted when i purchased it some years ago i was told it was amboyna burl. i am not that great at identifing the different woods. i am not out to cheat anyone and i know for a fact the wrap is not vinyl as it wouldnt look good on the top of a car.

??? Your numbers are way off. For many, a nice 12.5mm shaft on a Scruggs is a bonus, and certainly wouldn't affect value by such a huge percentage. $500-600 would be a steal for this cue.
