I'm offering up my beautiful 4 point 8 veneer Andy Gilbert. Have another cue coming in soon and need to sell this one.
Description:
Spalted curly maple points (colored and stabilized by Wildwoods) with multiple 8 veneers....salmon, blue, and holly with multiple thin black and white paper accent veneers....into a Honduran rosewood forearm. Spalted curly maple butt sleeve with a synthetic hoppe ring accented with thin black and silver rings. Flat face synthetic 3/8-10 short joint. White/black stitch rings at the joint and smooth double-pressed solid black Irish linen wrap.
Specs:
Balance point: 19.25" from buttcap
Length: 58"
Butt weight: 15.6 oz
Shaft 1: 13mm, 3.9 oz, and Moori tip
Shaft 2: 12.94mm, 3.6 oz, and Triangle tip
Total Weight: 19.4 or 19.2 oz
Pin: 3/8x10
Slight taper roll in one shaft, but doesn't affect play. No dents or dings anywhere. This cue plays absolutely great as all Gilbert's do, and if I didn't already have another Gilbert this wouldn't be the one I would be getting rid of. It is one of the most unique cues I have seen from him and the wood is gorgeous!
I really need to sell outright, but will entertain trades PLUS cash in the $500-$600 range for:
Scruggs sneaky
Capone sneaky or plain jane
Rauenzahn
Sly
Titlist
Looking to get GONE.
Feel free to ask any questions you might have! I will also try to get a full shot of the cue with the shafts and joint protectors over the next couple days.
Thanks,
Matt Fralin
