full splice , add a wrap

How much work would this take , I have a full splice with veneers, rosewood if that matters, I was thinking about putting on leather wrap, would the cue need to be refinished, or could it be done without messing up the clearcoat is the big question. Thanks Mike

Had Cory Barnhart do this for me a few months ago. He didn't refinish, just cut the groove and installed the wrap. It's perfect. Brian.

That helps a lot guys , I haven't bought the cue yet, I just want to know before I bought it, bc the points aren't sharp at the bottom and that will just bother me.
