Full Splice?

What exactly is a full splice cue? I am thinking about getting a Keith Josey sneaky pete and I read somewhere his cues are full splice cues. Is it different than say a production McDermott cue?

Full spliced basically means the forearm is one piece with grooves cut into it and the handle is also one piece with matching prongs cut into it that slide into the forearm grooves and are glued together. There is no conecting screw where the forearm and handle meet. It is fully spliced together with prongs and grooves. Keith is famous for his fancy full spliced cues. He does some great work and you won't be disappointed with his craftsmanship.

Josey makes a great cue.

Cant really go wrong with him, keep in mind that the guys that do their own full splice work will build you just about any wood combo you want....let the imagination go wild [well, weight and wood availability might limit you]
