OK, it took me 3 shots to do it, but I finally got out last night, lol.
In the first shot, I broke and ran down to the ball before the 8. The ball slowed down and didn't make it past this ball. I masse'd and made it.

I knew when I tried for it (not comfortable with the jump) that I might be hooked behind his balls after the shot and I was. I tried the long masse and overcut it and it ended up on the end rail.

I considered the bank, but thought I could block his pocket by cutting it super-fine. Trying not to put too much inside on it to scratch, I fired away and it hung just short of going in. It ran out of gas.

I left him with 2 balls and enough room to pocket his 14, but again, he was nervous, probably about making the 8. The ball didn't get anywhere near the pocket, but snookered me.
