Fun in Indy-Thx to Willie and AZB!!

My co-worker and I had to drive from Chicago down to Indianapolis for a one day trade show last Thursday, so we figured we would leave Wednesday and find a place to play down there. Since I have been addicted to this forum since I discovered it a couple of months ago, it was relatively east to search the threads for playing info in Indy. Williebetmore came through after a single PM (answered immediately I might add) that we should stop by Chalkies on the northeast side on Wednesday.

Not only was he there when we arrived, but he was helping to film a DVD with a well known female pro. We were introduced to everyone and had a great time watching the "action". Everyone was a lot of fun, and even though he had been up all the night before, Willie even stuck around to play a few games with us. We may have had a beer while watching the filming and we may have had one while playing later as well, OK, we had a bunch of them. My point is that when Willie left, he snuck up to the counter and picked up our tab. I sure hope he comes up to Chi-town so I can return the favor.

What a nice person, what a great pool room, and what a good time we had and I thank AZB and the forums for the ease of making it all happen.

Bill M.- not real good, but love the game!!!!

Bill,
You are very welcome. AZB is a great place for the true fanatics to hang out; as you will see.

I need to thank you for not mentioning the pancake make-up, spiked up hair, and biker outfit that the Hollywood crew made me wear - I don't want that to get around.

I'm very sorry I couldn't stay longer. Though I got no sleep the previous night, I would definitely have played longer if the wife had permitted (I guess she thought 12 hours of pool was enough for me that day).

Please stop by again; you still have not visited the nicest poolhall in town (Betmore's Basement).

Chalkies is a great place to play. I play there quite often. I am not a smoker so the no-smoking is very nice.

The outfit they had you wear was perfect for the part I guess. The pro thought you looked great in it!! I do look forward to visiting the "Shrine" (Betmore's Basement) at some point in the future as well.
