Love him or hate him this was one of the funniest things I have read on here. I'm at work and had to try to keep from laughing out loud. No disrespect to Zim but this was hysterical. He has zinged me as well but I still think he is hilarious.

We'll Zim, you finally said something I agree with, so maybe there is hope for you. If I was as ugly as you, I would not plaster my mug all over the internet, if you insist, as least let your hair grow longer than a l/6th of an inch. You are double ugly. Lose that picture.

None taken DD! I found it quite humorious as well! It's just much easier to wash my hair with a wash cloth, plus I save tons of $$ on shampoo, haha!!

Hey Zim,

Glad you took it the right way because I was in the Air Force as well and know how great it is to have short hair. This guy is pretty crude but once in a while writes something that absolutely cracks me up. Take care.

one thing about a buzz cut,,,,it's so easy to dry your hair.

As one who has a family with a deep history in the armed forces, let it be said that freedom is not free, and it is folks like you, Zim, who serve selflessly in the armed forces that make our country the finest place to live in the world. I salute you.

Hear hear! That has got to be the single greatest thing I've ever read on any pool forum. I, too, am from a military family, and the sentiment you express never even crossed my mind. Shame on me. Zim, I not only salute you, I thank you. And thank you, manlyshot, for grounding me in reality. As much as I love pool, it ain't the end-all and be-all.

Gentlemen, thanks for the comments! Like me, there are thousands of selfless men and women putting their lives on the line every day. Either on the front lines buried in sand in Iraq wearing equipment that weighs up to 200lbs or the person sitting in sunny Florida at a desk in an air conditioned building, we all have a vital role in protecting the wonderful USofA. I'm one of the more fortunate ones that has a very loving and supportive family (wife also serves in the Air Force ), gets to enjoy the awesome sport of Billiards both as a player and as a business, and I get to express my love for our country! A person in the Military makes 1/2 of what the Civilian counterpart does, but you don't hear us complaining (too much), do you?
For the love of family, pool and the USA!!!

Thanks,
Staff Sergeant Michael Zimmerman "Zim"

Actually, Danny D...I only STATED that the Military make 1/2 of the Civilians, not COMPLAINED! Just so you know, I was a retail manager in St. Louis MO making $29k a year and I DECIDED I wanted to join the Air Force at age 23 and travel the world, give something back to the US and I've been in 4.5 years, am already above the average in TIG (Time in Grade) and plan on making a career. How many 43 year old MEN do you know that are retired and in business for themselves after only working 20 years? Probably NONE, that aren't prior Active Duty!! Danny D, money doesn't get you everything in life! When YOU become a MAN you'll realize that!
I hope you have a wonderful day Danny D, you can thank me and my comrades later for defending your right to DO/SAY WHAT EVER THE HELL YOU WANT while we're protecting your ass!

Zim, when you respond to trolls that are the same person with different handles, it feeds them. Every single reader on this forum as well as CCB knows who this person is. It is difficult to ignore personal attacks by a multiple-personality poster. Fortunately, there are methods to trace and expose trolls in place. Hopefully, Mike H. or ChuckleZ of AzB will have the good sense to eliminate this person from further postings with his multiple handles.

Every single reader on this forum as well as CCB knows how precious and valuable folks like you are and what your service means to our country. Keep up the good work, and I hope to meet you some day when you come back home to the States, so that I can thank you in person. God bless America, Zim, and God bless you.

Quote Danny D.
Cops here have the same problem, they make half what most make, but you dont hear them crying about it
________
That's all the cops I knew did was complain about their low wages. But after 15 years they are making 50K. And look at all the "tips" they collect. And the free donuts. Gee.

The military must have been given a raise because many moons ago they were making about an 1/8 of the civilians working right next to them.

Most cops now get a pension after 20/50 at half pay. 20 years in; 50 years of age with hospitalization insurance so you don't have to rely on the VA.
