if you love the way it hits get it. i think fury cues go way cheaper then the way way overpriced i'm not going to say the name cue. its like going to best buy, the cheaper set of earphones sounds just as good as the overpriced Beats earphones, if not better. expensive logos don't mean anything, quality is what your looking for.

Guy in the room got an NA series, actually partially because of J.B.'s recommendation, description of the facility, and listing of which cues were made there.
Tip it came with was a little firm, so he put a soft tip on it cause he doesn't like hard hits.
Hits just as good as ANY high priced cue. Seriously.
So much so that a couple of other people ordered them.
But that wasn't the real test.
The real test was the guy who would never consider anything as good as his Gina.
THAT guy broke down and bought one cause he liked the way it hit so much, and stuck his Gina in the closet.
He's been playing with it ever since.
You'd be really hard pressed to find a cue that hits as good, for such a cheap price.

Hard to get though (in Germany). The NA series simply looks gorgeous.
Universal cues are right up that same alley and look rather identical, construction-wise.
I like their balance a little bit better (when loaded with 20oz).
Shafts are not exactly LD, though... but the speed loc pin should get you a nice new shaft here.

I kept seeing "Furry" cues and thinking that would just stink.

Ok production cues. Nothing more. Don't expect any miracles, but I guess they have a good value for the money.
A friend of mine owned one of these years ago and I've shot with it a bit. IMO it was fairly stiff hitting and not very lively. Don't know if their design has changed since then. Compared to a Joss cue, I preferred the Joss even if it too was a bit stiffer hitting than I like. The Joss had more life (feedback) and overall better balance and playability. Don't know if this is a general trend or just the two I tried. I seem to remember that the Joss cost more. Deflection of the Fury was average. They are worth pretty much what you pay for them may even be a bargain if you can get them cheaply, but I haven't tried the really expensive ones or the ld shafts they offer, so they may be better, IDK.

There is a post about Falcon cues also on here, I'd put Fury, Falcon and Joss in about the same range of quality and consistency of hit. Can't say "quality" or hit really since that all varies from person to person. But the wood used and how it's put together and the finish quality of these cues is on the same level.
