What do you guys think about furys jump break cue's?

despite the advertising and hype.. there is really only a minimum requirement for cues.. and it's far lower than most people think..

every cue made will play well enough when it's new.. all money can really buy you is longevity.. and decorations

my rule of thumb.. if it cost more than $100 and the shaft is made of maple.. you are probably fine..

if you for some reason don't like the jumping properties of the cue.. you can swap out the tip/ferrule combination fairly cheaply.. I don't like jump cues personally ... but.. if you are going to play seriously .. you gotta have one and you gotta know how to use it...

Yea , thanks i just ordered one from billiards addiction.com if you are looking for anything to do with billiards go to thier site they are having a sale 20% off everything and free shipping anything over $75 and you get a free gift which is a choice of a 12pc set of masters chalk Green or blue. a free glove. or a 1by 1 cue case its really a good sale.

Ryan...Since you already ordered the cue, it's a bit late to be asking opinions about it. Get it, play with it, and if you don't like it, sell it. Personally, I think break/jump cues are vastly overrated. I break with my playing cue (and have for 40 yrs). I have a jump cue, but rarely use it...mostly to show students how to jump. At your skill level you should be concentrating on other areas of your game...like developing a quality stroke!

I've been using a Fury Jump Break since they first hit the market...and I love it. My wife actually has one from before they hit the market. It was a prototype they had for a trade show several years ago.

Good choice, IMO
