This information for all those people out in the pool world who wants to purchase a lathe to do cue work or personal work please be advise that I have purchased a lathe from a person claiming that his lathe is better than other manufacturers that are already out there. I hate to say it but I got taken for a ride the lathe he sold me was so cheapily made that the mother board keeps burning out and the lathe wouldn't work and he times it so perfect that the warranty expires and you end up eating the cost. So please beware of so-called people that thinks they know how to build a lathe when they don't know a damm thing about it.

There's always several lathes for sale on this website. Your input would be greatly enhanced (and appreciated) if you disclosed the seller.

In order to help the rest of us we need to know who you purchased it from, because there are dozens of people out there making them.
Maybe, if you mention it here that person will feel reluctant to take care of it for you.

Maybe we would also like to hear both sides of the story, and how, in your opinion, it being a bad deal. Maybe, what happened and went wrong had to do with your inexperience or know how.
