G10 Pin Question

I have a cue with a G10 Pin and was thinking of grabbing an OB shaft for it.

Would a 3/8x10 shaft work properly?

I dont see any of the OB shafts with a G10 pin so if the 3/8x10 doesnt work would I just have to buy a blank and ask a cuemaker to match?
 
you need to know your thread size, g10 can be used for different sizes.

I have fitted OB 3/8-10 shafts to my G-10 pins with no problem.

G10 is just one material from which joint pins are made. 3/8-10 is just one size & thread count in which joint pins are made. Just because both have a "10" in the name doesn't mean they're the same. It's like asking will a 3/8-10 OB shaft fit on my stainless steel pin?
