I know West rules the roost around here, but maybe some of you are using this epoxy, or have tried it. Either way here are the details....

Think oily cocobolo / thuya etc....

"G-2 is an epoxy glue for oily, acidic hardwoods like teak and other precious tropical woods. Use it for gluing oak and cedar, as well as other materials that are difficult to bond. G-2 was developed primarily for waterproof bonding of rot-resistant woods used in fine yacht joinery. Use G-2 for both interior and exterior applications as well as below the waterline. G-2 can be mixed in small or large batches, has a long pot life and cures overnight. Minimal clamping pressure is required. After fully curing it can be machined, drilled, sanded and tapped"

I know a world class cue maker that told me to use that stuff but I haven't tried it yet. I would trust just about anything he tells me.

I only see one problem with it....per their website, the only available color is Amber. I don't know how that would look gluing up lighter woods, or anything really where you might see a glue line....? Anybody have any ideas....?

I've been using it for a few years. I have had no problems with it to date. I am quite happy with it.
