Ga-Young Kim's cue is?

It is an ebony forearm SW with Goncala Alves or Pau Ferro points.
it seems to me that in taiwain most pros prefer southwest over all other cues, for instance, ga young kim, ching shun yang, chi ching wu, and most other tawianese players, hey, i can't blame them in my opinion southwest and kershonbrock are some of the finest hitti'n cues of all time.

She isnt Taiwanese but that is where she has been living the last 3 years at least. It's one reason she doesnt have a sponsor. Jennifer Chen owns Taiwan and someone would have to really buck the tide to sponsor her from there.
BTW-GYK just beat Karen Corr in sudden death to make the finals at Mohegan Sun. Julie K was up 3-0 first set vs Allison. Im pulling hard for Julie as GYK has never beaten Allison and has an excellent record against Julie,
Kim's younger sister's currently playing in Taiwan as well.
Miss Kim used to play with a Predator but that was a while ago.
Miss Kim is now playing with a Southwest with an ebony forearm with tulipwood points and a leather wrap. She is playing with the original Southwest shafts and Moori tip.
Her breaking cue is a Dennis Searing custom jump break, which is over 19 oz and feels very heavy. The interesting fact is that she does not actually know who is Dennis Searing and she does not know who made her cue.
Miss Kim jumps with a bunjee.

By the way, on Miss.Kim's Southwest, the points did look like Pau Ferro to me but others insisted that they were Tulipwood.
Miss. Kim told me she had no idea, she said may be they were cocobolo, and she thought cocobolo was a Chinese name. She tried to tell me very politely that she had no idea what cocobolo was in English.
The leather wrap on her cue was installed in Taiwan by a friend of hers using the same leather that was used for Mercedes Benz leather seats.

Hey Richard-That is funny about her and the cocobolo.
BTW- Miss Kim annihilated Julie Kelly in the finals last nite 5-1, 5-0. Julie was very disappointed buy GYK only missed one ball (90% sure) in final 2 sets.
She is forgoing the weekend tournament and will be instead diving head first into advanced shopping in NYC under the tutelage of a very capable Miss EC!
