So i'm hill/hill in the finals of our little 8-ball tournament. And after a little safety battle, I finally get a shot. So I hit this ball in the dead center of the pocket and it jumps straight back out onto the table. Meanwhile I played perfect shape on the 8 for the tournament! I didn't hit it hard or anything, it just jumped out. The guy I am playing tells me it happened to him in a recent gambling session.My local room put in these new pockets when they recently recovered the tables. There is something funny about the way they're cut. Not a good way to lose.
