They say three is a crowd.
But four is a community and combine
it with the other six its going to be a clan. :D
Anyway, Gaga Gabica from our very city of Cebu (and so is
Warren Kiamco) finally qualifies and i wish him well,
along the tournament. Unfortunately though for
Dodong Andam he was booted out by Gaga for the
qualifier. But its already 10 for the Pinoys and
i believe its a good number to have a chance
to win the WPC for any of them.
Go Pinoy ! Go Pinoy ! Go ! :) :D

I'll jump to conclusions straight away. I think pinoys should've had more placings & wildcards in the first place.

Interesting write-up on the AZB news page about the referee having to interrupt the match to control the crowd, who was attempting to distract his opponent.

What's that beer commercial say? Those who can't play coach. Those who can't coach heckle!

Actually it was the Pinoy who was being distracted, not his Taiwanese opponent.

Yap you are right. it is Gaga Gabica who was being heckled by
the Taiwanese fans, because all of their previous Taiwanese
Qualifiers were all booted out by Filipinos, namely, Manalo, Luat
and Lining. Hence the animosities of local fans against Filipino
cueist. In fact after that there was a Taiwanese vs Filipino duel again,
against Gande Valle but unfortunately Valle lost. And PROBABLY
there could be heckling at that duel.

Hey CebuanoNinoy,
This maybe a little bit off the subject but have you heard anything about Ronnie Alcano? Haven't heard anything about him for awhile now. Thanks.

Rob

Add Dennis Orcullo to the list. How many Filipinos are in the tournament right now? Who's your favorite to win?

Dennis is the 11th Filipino to be part of the Philippine Team.
Actually i love Efren again to win, but any Filipino will do.
I like the chances also of Parica, because this is his first
time to prove himself despite his already well decorated career.
I like also Bustamante because of his many frustrating to shine
as the next torch carrier for Efren. I like also Warren Kiamco because
he came from the same city as i do,namely, Cebu City. And not
just that he has played very well in fact he finish 3 times as 1st runner up
on the last San Miguel Asian 9-ball leg. I like also Marlon Manalo, this
guy can really shoot well, the only, consistent Snooker player here in
the Philippines. I think this guy has a great future as far as pool is
concern, he has just to expose himself into international scene.
Of course there is Rodolfo Luat, Antonio Lining, Gaga Gabica, Lee Van Corteza, Dennis Orcullo and Dennis Orcullo in that order.

Just recently Parica, Efren, Bustamante, Kiamco and Lee Van Corteza
got together here to play and exhibition pool. I think they are planning
big for this coming World Pool. They have something up on their sleeve,
notwithstanding this guys can shot any lights out in pool.

Go Philippines ! Go !

Yeah, I wonder what happened with Ronnie Alcano, he took Joss tour by storm then suddenly gone. He didn't even went to taiwan to qualify. Well too much Filipinos already, give Europe a chance! Go Europe Go!!

Salamat po pare ("thank you friend" in Tagalog). The reason I asked is, I saw him shoot at the Trump Tour (in Atlantic City) with the rest of the "Filipino Contingent" and just loved his stroke.
