I am looking for good information on the Meucci Gambler q's. I have been to Budgets and mad mikes. Not so helpfull. Does any one know exactly how many variations (not including hearts clubs spades diamonds) there are?
Thanks Don

some info

Some older ones do not have the dice, but have a ring with that
chain-link design instead. Some have the black covered wrap,
and some have an Irish linen white with black speckles.

I may still have a few pictures I've collected from ebay (not
great quality) lying around, but some of my CDRs seem to be
going bad on me.

I was looking for any specific data like all the different model numbers or any information that might make one gambler or another date specific. I know that there were at least two chain types. I know at some point the dice when the ones paired together both on the joint and the butt total 7. I have also noticed that some of the dice on the butt when looking at the top row they go from one to six in order and the bottom row do the same in the opposite direction while yet others are the one over the one and two over two and so on till the sixth dice. I also know of a very old gambler that all four cards are the same. I was also curious if there was a perception of number of the cues made in each suit, in other words more hearts than clubs etc..... I also noticed a gambler the other day that had a wood forearm (possibly maple) with the four points however the butt was script meucci. I have not seen any model number for that cue (i believe it had a black dot shaft too). I am just fininshing filling the Oldie series of all ten sticks. Well actually I believe I will be a long time till I get the last three I need and thought i would start with the gamblers and learn them a little before I started to collect them.
Once again Thanks for any solid knowledge, Don

Meucci Gambler

Here is one for you to check out, said to be one of the first cues Bob Meucci built. This has not been confirmed by Bob, but the information comes from a good source.

excellent looking cue you got there

i had one with the dice and i liked it , sold it to a friend and now when i see it since i've had more experiece with cues i notice a lot of flaws in it. i wouldn't buy another one

Is this cue marked in any way...... seems odd for it to be as old as it looks and not using a brass pin...... That is why i have been asking before i start buying...... Is this cue for sale...... What do you figure it is worth for sale or not...... I have not seen one like it before ........ looks to be in pretty good condition .......... Thanks for the pick and the time ...... Don

FYI the hearts cue built on a titlist blank (Yours) is the most sought after gambler ...
