I saw these 2 guys gambling about 20 years ago. They were playing for four hundred a set nine ball with the younger guy (23 yo) getting the last two. The two players decided to post the money under the empty ball rack that was under the pool table. Since their were three individual pool lights over the table it was physically impossible to post "on the lights." But at least they posted. The set was going back and forth until the older gentlemen (28 yo) dogged a ball and it cost him the next two games and set. The older guy congratulated the younger guy, put his stick up, and reached down to get the money. He grabbed the money, walked up to the younger guy with cash in hand, and pushed him away and turned around and ran out the door. The younger guy chased him outside to find the guy had already sped out of the parking lot. Posting up doesn't always work out.
