Im not the greatest of negotiators and i have noticed that all these big $gamblers spend alot of time making a game. You know trying to get the game in thier favor even if its just a little edge. Like i noticed in that chris bartram thread that larry nevel offered him the 8 playin 9ball and chris replied no but i'll take the 9 playin 10ball. To avoid "racking issues" i never would have thought of that. Im sure there are many other examples. Are there any books or videos on "game making"?
It's just very interesting to me watching the whole process of making the game to suit both players and in the end somone agrees because they believe they negotiated thierselves into having an edge. But if niether player thinks they have an edge then the match never happens. It's not always about gettin a ball there is so much more to it.
