Gary Johnson Custom with 8 solid Ivory points

Up for your consideration is a Gary Johnson custom cue with 8 Ivory points. Gary only makes about 10 cues a year, and this cue was his personal player. (we all know how long a cuemaker's personal player stays in their bag) :D

One of the craziest Curly Maple forearms I have ever seen, trust me these pictures do no justice in showing the figure. The cue has double nickel/silver rings at A,B,C,D,E... The rings have started to come through the finish as most do when silver is used. Nothing a refinish couldn't cure. Wrap is white with black spec linen.

Shaft is 13mm and has a Moori M tip with 3/4 length non ivory ferule. The taper is very nice. It is like a cross between a 314 taper and a SW taper. Right in the middle, so it's stiff but not too stiff. :thumbup: Everyone that has played with it likes it. Unfortunately for me, the players in this area are all broke.

Cue is right at about 19oz and is 58 in in length

To answer a few questions, I will have to go borrow a scale to get exact weights. I just got back from Memphis so it will it will be a little while before I go back. Hopefully a few of the guys who have played with the cue will chime in as I am sure most of you have never played with one of Gary's cues
 
I was there when he got this cue and was able to hit a few balls with it. It has a nice stiff hit and is balanced well.

That curly in the forearm is absolutely crazy!

Hard to believe that this beautiful cue has not sold yet! If you could only see it in person and hit a few balls with it, it would be gone by now!

Bump it to the top. Just spoke to the Doc on the phone and he says he's getting lots of PMs on this cue. He's out of town and away from the computer but will get to returning PMs tonight. He says AZ is acting wierd on his phone:cool:
