GC 1 Snooker Table Questions

I'm not argumentative!!!!

What can you tell me about them? I have a 10-foot table in storage and stumbled upon a 12-foot table. I'm seriously considering buying it to either put in a private club or in a home (that I would build).
The owner is claiming the 12-foot table has 2-inch slate at 400 pounds per piece. That alone is 1,600 pounds. Is it really 2-inch slate? I need a ballpark on the weight so I can plan for hauling it if I get it.
My 10-footer needs work. The 12-footer likely needs less work as it is assembled and is operational. Both are tangerine. Anyone care to take a stab at the value of these?
Any advice will be appreciated.
By the way, I'm not a snooker player. Not yet.

I've never heard of a 6x12 Gold Crown with 2 inch slate.
The standard is 1.5 inch.
The British match tables are only 1.75 inch.

There have been 2 inch slate tables made in North America, but I suspect
the last one was made long before a Gold Crown or Anniversary 6x12 were
produced.

The misunderstanding about slate thickness is usually a result of looking
at a table that's assembled....that is 1.5 inches of slate under the cloth...
..and about 0.5 inches of 'tack board' ( where the staples go)

The only modern 2 inch slate tables I have seen are 5x10 world-class
carom tables....and the Connelly Ultimate 9 footer.

It should be a buyer's market on a 6x12...bargain hard.
