GC IV slate weight?

I'm sure this has been brought up in some thread. But does any body know off hand what each piece weighs roughly on the 9' GC IV.
SPIRAL stair case :eek:....Somebody got it there now I need to get it out.

BTW like new except the cloth going to love playing on it.

With backing, about 220# per piece.

Some 1 inch slate weighs more than others...weight can differ from piece to piece...especially if it's brunswicks brunstone...

My 9' GCII has Brunstone. On my digital race car scale each piece weighs 215# with the backing. The scales are very, very accurate. If you have a 2500# car on the scales and you leave a wrench on the car you can see the weight of the wrench in the weight discrepancy.

Brunstone' is a little lighter than slate and real wood backing weighs less than MDF' backing, but you're right on the money.

Hey they sure do' they come in a 1pc slate as well... It's just a really long wait'

After moving 3 pieces up & down 2 flights of stairs I just had to know how much it weighed. I thought it was heavier, neither my kid or I is small but we still had a tough time with it. I made a carrier that probably weighed 20# cause I didn't want to have a piece slip and break. I think the reason they felt heavier was because they are nothing if not awkward to carry.
