I've worked on several GC1's and some of them several times. The blinds are always a pain. I've got one particular table though that is giving me fits. To me, once you have two sides "hooked" up onto that rail and bracketed in the corner, they should stay up on their own. That's the way they have gone in the past. This one, however we're having problems getting the blinds to stay up. Last year, we recovered the table and got the blinds on no problem. They stayed up for about 3 days, then the whole thing (all 4 sides) came crashing down out of nowhere.
We put it back up and the same thing a few days later.
This year, we recovered the table, got the blinds up and they fell. Got them up again and they fell. Tightened up the screws in the corner brackets and got them up...they stayed...for about 3 weeks. Then out of nowhere, all 4 sides fell again. Still attached to each other, just not to the table. I'm stumped on this one. I've never had one do this. Like I said, to me if you get them up and bracketed to each other, they should be in the right position at the right angle to stay hooked into the rail. Anyone else have this problem before? Would you suspect bent hooks or corner brackets?
