GCII slate/frame trouble?????

Hey everyone, I have a GCII that was just reworked in February 2013, when I installed the slate I was very, very careful to align slate heights at seams and I was very careful to level the slate. I used playing cards for shims, I think the most in any one place was 4 cards stacked and I used a good accurate 10" Starrett machinists level. I could not get every area of the slate perfectly level, some spots being about a 1/4 bubble off, it seems like you would have a good reading then move the level 2" and it would be ever so slightly off. but it averaged out to be very level. Before I installed the cloth I slow rolled balls back and forth and everything looked good. Now the problem, 2 nites ago I slow rolled a shot table length along the rail and I noticed the cue ball drift away from the rail. I got my level out to relevel table and it seems to be that the slate is low in the center between the side rails, is it possible the humidity is causing this? Its in my basement, with dehumidifier on high I can only get down to about 80% humidity, when I set it up we were at about 50%, anyone have any thoughts or ideas on what to do short of disassembling table and releveling?

Asside from leveling the outer edges of the slate, you also need to support/level the center of the slate on the crossmembers as well, so that the center of the slate don't drop.

Thanks for the reply RKC, I did do that, near all the fasteners I checked and shimmed as needed, maybe I did not use enough.
