Getting a desired balance point.

I'm looking to find a way to move my cues balance point a bit more to the joint side, to make it a bit nose heavy. Is there any reasonable way to make this happen without making the cue a lot lighter by removing the weight bolt.
I'm looking to get 19.5oz with the balance point about 2.5 inches from the wrap groove towards the joint. I have played with a friends cue that was weighed like this, it had a SS joint, ebony forearm and a bit skinnier butt end. It felt amazing, seemed easier to stroke straight than with a butt heavy cue. Its a Mezz EC7 if this matters.

Recommendations for cue makers that can make a cue to a certain weight / balance are welcome too. What would you recommend to get these specs for a cue? Keeping the cost in the hundreds, so a 1500€ custom isnt a viable choice for me unfortunately. I would like to be able to have a predator shaft to fit on it too, if I cant move the balance on my current cue :embarrassed2:

I reside in Finland, so import charges from the states need to be addes to the cost with Schmelkes etc. but I'm here with an open mind, please give your thoughts on this :)

Kimmo,
You stated what you want your cue to be in the end - 19.5oz and balance about 2.5 in forward of the wrap groove, but you don't state where it is now.
That would be necessary information for anyone.
So:
1) What does your cue weigh now?
2) Where is the balance point now?

Then we can give you a better idea of methods to modify it.

I just measured the balance points for each cue, balance point from the buttcap for my friends cue at 19,5oz is 49cm. For mine it is 44,5cm from the buttcap, 19,5oz too.

Its funny how big of a difference in feel such a small thing can be :o

So, I tried fiddling around with the weight bolts, and came to a conclusion that the closest I can get to the desired feel is to have the cue at 19oz, thats with a 0.5oz bolt on it.

If someone happens to know a production cue that is pretty forward heavy, please let me know. PM will do if you dont want to post here

Especially interested in some Predator models and Bear or Fury cues, they have a few that looks nice and I always have space for one more cue on the rack
How do you like them if you have played with them? Fury F- HL-4 or a Bear BP-6 or 7 models are pretty neat looking cues in my eyes

Butt for looks, weight and balance.

Shaft (mostly tip and ferrule) for deflection and feel.
