Getting Close ... Rosewood on Rosewood

one of the greats

Tony, if you keep things at this pace then you will have a waiting list and cues that get stored in closets. I'm impressed everytime you show a pic. your an inspiration. I'm seriously considering ordering a cue now before it becomes imposssible to get one.

Custom cue

VERY NICE RINGWORK TONY NOW I HAVE TO LOOK OVER MY DESIGN FOR MY NEW CUE AND SEE ABOUT CHANGING MY PLANS. I WILL CALL YOU TOMORROW. I LIKE THE ORIGINAL TOUCH:thumbup::thumbup:

have you ever used the .005's? if you breath on it, it will break!

I've used them just testing some things. I couldn't use them on my old machine. I couldn't really use .010's very well either, but I did and wasted a lot. I inlaid that entire cue with one .010" bit and one .0156" bit.

I know Dennis told me that he only use one bit when he put his name in the cue in silver using a .005" cutter. I have roughly the same spindle, same size and pitch screws and same nuts, so I imagine I could use one. I just haven't had the need since I put the new screws on my machine yet.

The .007's cut a bit deeper, so I will probably order a box on my next order. Most of the time I use .012's for my clean-up, but I needed to go a bit smaller for this cue.
