In preparing a travel schedule, I thought I'd initiate this thread for other players who may desire to get in stroke before the Open.

Pool seems to be alive and well here on the East Coast! :D

So many GREAT events are available to pool players on the tournament trail the week before the U.S. Open. This is a good thing for those who are located on the East Coast, of which there are currently MANY top guns of the world already here.

Francisco Bustamante, with his recent Joss Tour Season Finale and Masters wins, is a mighty warrior, and word has it that the Filipino contingency, Efren Reyes et al., is in the Drexel Hill/Philly region.

There is nothing finer than a tournament in the Carolinas, and the Carolinas Open has always been a favorite of mine personally, but Drexeline Billiards is looking good for the Earthquake, due to its locale to D.C. :p

Earthquake is already gearing up for the big battle up ahead and has a new Tiger on his Willee! Get ready to rumble! :D

LOL. There's a funny story about Keith posing in that outfit. I did feel sorry for him, though, as it was 110 degrees that day, and he was REALLY sweating bullets! Innocent passerbies ran for cover when they saw the Earthquake walking out of the woods in the get-up. I still chuckle every time I see these photos. :D

Looking forward to seeing you, too, Brian. Keith's beautiful Virginia keepsake is currently on display front and center over our television set. I love it, love it, love it, and will cherish it forever. :)

Tell Josh and Todd I said hi, too!

When UPA Touring Pro Mike Davis gave me the 3 and out and all the breaks and I lost 8 games, only winning one by a fluke, I realized, by George, I am a good railbird. :D

My muscle memory is gone, I tell you, and I can't see anymore, but I sure feel lucky to be able to witness some of the best players in the world strut their stuff on a field of green in my elder years. If somebody would have told me 20 years ago that I'd be back in the thick of it again, I'd have laughed, but here I am. :p

I'll be sure to let Todd and Josh know you said Hi.

He should try to get a deal with Viking cues. Then he could do the big helmet with the horns thing! :D He's such a good sport to do something like that. After getting to know him a little bit, I understand why he's such a crowd pleaser! And it pleases me to know some of my work holds such a place of honor in your place.

Best regards to you both!
