I I know this has been brought up many times but ì think most of us were looking at it from the wrong angle. .. my thought on it is this.
saying that sharks and eccentric people are ruining pool And also saying it's too boring for people to enjoy may be true. BUT if you got a person like gene and maybe two others hitting the road with a GOOD camera crew and made a reality series that is acctuly real no scrips.
We say sharking ruins pool, along with the other shenanigans. But that is what makes it interesting fun and exciting. So y do we try to hide what pool is? We all know there is good and bad in everything. So lets show both sides.. take a junior nat. Champ and lets have the world watch him compete , win and lose. And the other ha d fallow a guy like gene who is on the road teaching and playing for money.... it could be great for tv but so many of us seem scared to show the true faces of pool.... it has everything we just need to let people see how great it can and can't be.....
Just my two sents and if someone with more money than me wants to make it happen, all I ask is that I am involved in it. I love this game more than most and I do want to share it with the rest of the world.....
