I don't know about the rest of you but I'm getting so tired of Fast Larry, Danny D, Plato and now Road Runner 711!!! Every time I go to a thread this idiot is butting in to bring Fast Larry back in the discussion on threads that have absolutely nothing to do with him!! I'm also tired of some of the people who are flamethrowing back at him. You know who you are, I don't have to waste the print.

I have been trying to ignore all those posts but I'm getting tired of wading through them to get to what I really want to read. Gremlin is taking the right course of action which is to simply ignore him. I am only writing this thread to encourage the rest of you to do the same. If we all ignore him, maybe he'll go away for good. Let's try okay?

Hey, you know what, you can do whatever you want. I'm just making a suggestion. When I go to a thread that is about Ga Young Kim and I wind up reading about FL and his paranoia, I get a little annoyed! You got a problem with that?
 
Ditto.

I didnt mind his ramblings bout pool, but this bunch of different id's rambling on in different posts (on other forums) is super old. Since FL was banned, seems like his egos would be as well.

Gremlin is still posting as GREMLIN and doesn't appear to be hiding, just IGNORING Fast Larry! aka Road Runner 711, Plato_17, 9Ball Road Pro, Danny D and who the hell knows what other aliases. At least Gremlin is sane and sensible, unlike Larry Gruninger. You, Fast Larry, need to seek medical attention now. Seek help my friend if you plan to live a healthy life.

It’s regrettable to have a pool forum used as a vehicle for personal attacks, innuendoes and insults. I have given my opinion to the moderator on certain recent posts I have read.

The character and behavior of a few members dilutes the purpose and worth of this forum which, in my opinion, is for exchanging information and opinions on pool related subjects. These individuals stereotype the old pool hall behavior and vulgarisms which are so hard for the game of pool to shed. Sadly, they probably love the game of pool and don’t realize (or don’t care) that their behavior does nothing to advance the game they love, only takes away from it.

I am in agreement with you. The funny thing is, if you engage them, they continue to be obnoxious. I have found that if you answer them in a loving and careing way, they lay off. Try to enlighten them. They are only hung up in their own wounds and fears. Darkness cannot enter a brightly lit room. It dissapears! I look at it as a way to help point the way. They do take a lot of space on the board. You could put them on your ignore list. That is a BEAUTIFUL thing. Later my friend.

All I can say is what took the administrator so long? I totally agree with Rickw but I have been tolerant of all Larry has done while always wishing that he would just go away. It's a sad state of affairs to see such a nut case with nothing to do except post to an internet message board.

I will admit that even though I have all his identities on my ignore list, I do view the threads to see what is happening. I suspect that he has probably at least doubled the traffic at this site and the administrator is reluctant to off him due to the pickup in numbers of views.

On the other hand, Mike has other things going on and this forum probably gets less attention than it used to.

My day job has been taking up quite a bit of time recently. And covering the tourney in New York was also keeping me a little busy.

Might be having a lot more free time soon though.

Most quality sites like this one aren't created and manned by the idle rich, unfortunately. :) They're the result of one or a few persons' extraordinary vision and work ethic. That doesn't change the reality that these extraordinary people need to eat, and this website is a break-even proposition at best.

In a way, that's a good thing - chances are boredom would set in pretty quickly if all the admin had to do was wander the forum.

I really did not realize the FL series of characters had been exiled when I started this thread. I had just gone to the Ga Young Kim thread and saw the second post from that Road Runner moron and just got disgusted and started this thread. I don't try to analyze the whole forum. I come on, read the threads that interest me, respond to those that I feel I have something to share and split.

You're not trying to antagonize me now are you? LOL Are you suggesting that with the FL group gone you and I should start a flame war just to keep a little excitement going?

I really appreciate the work you do on this site. I went to the BD forum and I don't think it comes close to this site by comparison. Thanks for all you do!!!

I agree with you that it is a good idea to respond to them with love and affection but I have a hard time doing that. The best I can do is to ignore them which is what I was trying to encourage the others to do. That was what Gremlin was doing and I thought it was pretty effective.

Your thread was already on the board before Mike deleted the users accounts...I was reading it and reported the "last thread" to Mike...you did not post it after the fact.
