I just got in the mail this beautiful Gilbert Titlest Conversion from thediamond. As always, great doing business with him
The cue has a bit of a history. The titlest was originall purchased back in 94 or 95 from a pawn shop in Arkansas City, KS. Andy was commissioned in 2007 to complete this conversion. As apparently Andy never signs a conversion (as it feels that he didn't fully build the cue) this cue doesn't have a signature either.
The cue is marvelous. The lizard wrap has a very nice feel to it. The butt is very well balanced and the ivory joint gives it a stiffer hit, just as I like it.
Even though both Si and the original seller mentioned that you can feel the ringwork, I'm not able to. And no, I don't have Hulk fingers
Here's the original posting from back in May with more details about the cue and some pictures.
Gilbert Titlest
Enjoy !
