Ginacue Collection Addition

Albeit in a way I agree with ribdoner, I used to own Skips 5th cue as shown on cueaddicts site. I sold it because of the weight. It hit really solid and I had a hard time deciding what to do. But weight is probably the single most, bothersome spec of a cue to get "used" to. Tough call...

JV

Weight for many but shaft size/taper for me.... 20oz +- 1oz is okay within a few days. Any "normal" tapered shaft under 12.5mm or over 13mm turns me into an APA SL2:)

I agree with JV about cue weight. I've parted with some nice cues because they were heavier than what I like to play with. I ran into a couple of cue deals that were good buys and I tried to not dwell on the weight of the cue being heavy for me thinking that I could adjust to it and I went ahead and bought the cue. I tried and tried to get used to the heavier weight and it just didn't work for me. I ended up selling the cues and now when I run into a cue deal if the weight is higher than I like I just move on and forget about it. Some players love a heavy cue, but it doesn't work for me.

Best of luck adjusting to your GS cues.
