It is a guy out of the Ft. Lauderdale area that has them made to his specs, but he's not a cuemaker. I suspect they are imported.
The shafts seem to be fiberglass-coated. At a minimum, they have a finish sprayed on them. Perhaps it has a maple core.
I speak from expeirience regarding the materials after working on one with a dent in it. It is not just plain maple.
