I played one of the guys at our sr ctr the other day ,none too happy with my breaking . We play BCA rules .I go to 8 to his 7 . All said add done I won 3 of 4 sets ,game count was 26 to 17 . I broke 26 times and made a ball twice...how bad is that , Table is an OS Gandy 8 footer ,rack was one of those over sized diamonds . This was 8 ball . Playing 9 ball on this same table using a Magic rack I can pretty much make 2 balls every break .
Seems that breaking 8 ball on this table is tough , The guys that break better than probably are not much over 50 % . Hard to have a break and run at this rate .
