I have not used this yet, but build looks and feels impeccable. Fit and finish on on par with Albrecht at 3 times the price.

This is an R8 version with integral shank. I have an Albrecht Morse 3 on my lathe, so I decided to try this for my mill(I had bid on a nice Albrecht on Ebay, but it got over 200 bucks).

I know how cheap we all are, so at 120(the morse are 90?)this is an absolute bargain for what you are getting.

I only paid 60 for the Albrecht(new), but that is a once in a lifetime deal and I needed one for my mill.

You have probably had a chance to put the Glacern trough its paces by now, so what do you think? have you checked the accuracy yet?? I have been wondering how good they were for a while, thinking about one with a No.3 Morse taper for my lathe..

Looks like a nice chuck

I just got an Albrecht for $2, in nice shape ! Part of a used tool sale awhile back, I stumbled onto it. It had a R8 shank, so I switched to a MT3. I would never use anything but an integral shank chuck for a mill anymore, I learned my lesson when a chuck popped off the shank and ruined a gun I was working on.

Unfortunately I have not. I got bored and took the bed of my mill apart and am doing the bearings. I also plan on putting some paint on it. It could be awhile.......:scratchhead:
