My identical twin brother Don and myself where very active in the local pool scene here in the Detroit metro area for many years and where regular figures at the local one pocket tournaments, the US Open One Pocket and the Derby City classic.
We where also active in collecting cues and where Szamboti cue fans and also had a few nice Balabuska cues over the years. When the auto industry had a downturn in 2006 and my business slowed down, I was forced to give up some of my hobbies which included pool and collecting cues, but my business has always come before my hobbies and I will never change.
My kid brother passed in December at the age of 49 from a bad heart which rocked our family to the core because we have always been close. But when our twin Szamboti cues arrived this year we decided to start playing again.

We look forward to going to some of the future tournaments in the near future and see some of our old pool friends we haven't seen in a long time. I just wanted to say its good to be back playing pool, even if I am only a C player.
