Glasses

How hard is it going to be to adjust to playing with eye glasses? I just got my first pair today and boy is my depth perception way out of whack!

I played in glasses for decades. Went from Glasses to Contacts. Whew... couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a barn door! So... I purchased a set of Decot Hy-Wyd glasses... Did great with them until Lasik surgery 8 months ago. Took me awhile to get used to not having glasses on, but I've gotten used to the Lasik and love it.

When I went from Glasses to Contacts, big problems, then back to Hy-Wyd Glasses, minor problems, then to Lasik, big problems for awhile, but I did adjust and see everything better now than I used to. In other words, give the glasses a little time. When you adjust to your new perception of the balls and table, you'll be fine.

Hey Jody, One other note on the DeCot glasses, they come in either a gold plated frame or a matte black frame. I had the gold ones first and had some light reflection from the overhead lights then switched to the black frames. Problem solved.

Anti-Glare seems to help...

Anti-Glare option for my glasses really helped sharpen the edges of the balls for me. I always buy a pair of large round lens type glasses for pool, but my latest pair has been the best due to getting this option.
