So,I finally bought the dvd that Glen made for recovering the rails and bed cloth.Let me say this,I have a new found respect for anyone that can do this easily.Because for me it wasn't that easy but I did the best I could do and was pretty proud of how it turned out, eventhough it could've been better.Ithink Glen did an excellent job of making the dvd!!
I really just wanted to see how bad I would get beat down over the job I did,so I thought I would post pics.lolhttp://forums.azbilliards.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=326409&stc=1&d=1395552813http://forums.azbilliards.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=326410&stc=1&d=1395552889http://forums.azbilliards.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=326411&stc=1&d=1395552938http://forums.azbilliards.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=326412&stc=1&d=1395553018

Well, I for one thought you did a pretty damn good job:D but next time don't pull as much slack in the cloth at the corner pockets on the top side, move a little bit more towards the bottom of the rail, I can see a little bit of slack on the tops of the rails. Stretch it a little more over the end of the corner pocket too, before you wrap it around the back side and staple it. But, you done good buddy:thumbup:

Thanks for the tips Glen. You make it look so damn easy and it definitely isn't.Great job on the dvd and I'm glad there are all you mechanics here that are willing to share knowledge. You may not be able to tell but I've learned alot on this forum and I only do this for myself.I really like working on tables though I don't do it much.I can see where someone could definitely get addicted to that kind of work.If you are ever anywhere close to me,I would love to be able to come and just watch you work on one.
Cheers to all the mechanics here!

If that is Simonis cloth the bed looks real good to me, I dont see any shadow marks along the rails from stretching the cloth. I have a few on mine that you can see from the right angle, Ive also noticed quite a few on tables that I see on various competition videos, so it must be a little tricky to stretch cloth properly.

With Glen's method you cannot go wrong! That's definitely the best money I may have ever spent in my whole life.Anyone thta's thought about buying the dvd, quit waiting and wondering if it's worth it!Go ahead and order it.You will not be disappointed

What does it take up to purchase this DVD?

Thank you

They're available through Seyberts, though I don't know the price, and I've never watched them, but Jay, my partner said they turned out real good.
